What you need to have to apply.
You must be at least 18 years of age.
have a valid driver's license.
have a High School diploma or GED.
have proof that you have passed Algebra I. High School or Collage
or
have 8000hrs of electircal construction electrical experience
While your in school you get paid a good wage with yearly performance raises and
employer paid medical insurance.
You work while you go to school and school consists of classes 2 nights a week for
2 1/2 hours each night for 5 years September thru May.
Application Process:
Applications must be filled out in person on the first and third Wednesdays of each month between the hours of 1pm and 5pm at 6111 Jacksboro Highway. A high school transcript must be provided for verification on the Algebra requirement to complete the application. Once the application is complete a certified letter is sent out informing you of the interview date, time and address. Interviews are scheduled for January and July. Following the July interview, apprentices will be selected for the upcoming school year which runs from August thru May for the first year and from September thru May for the other four years.
